Mysore, July 13- Joint Director of District Industries Centre Mr. B.S.
Sirsikar and his team visited industrial areas in Metagalli, Hebbal,
Hootagalli, Belavadi, Yadavagiri and Nanjangud on July 9 and 10 to study
the needs of civic amenities in the areas.
This follows the decision taken by the division-level meeting under the
chairmanship of Heavy and Medium Industries Minister Mr. R.V. Deshpande
recently.
Mr. Sirsikar disclosed that the problems being faced by industrialists
will be put forth to the Government.
KIADB Development Officer Mr. Jayashankar, KSSIDC Deputy General Manager
Mr. Shanthakumar, Hebbal Industrialists Association President Mr. H.T.
Raghavendra, Secretary Mr. Suresh Kumar Jain, KIAMA President Mr. P.K.
Rastogi, Metagalli Industrialists Association President Mr. M.J. Baindur,
Nanjangud Industrialists Association President Mr. Ramaprasad and
Secretary Mr. B.C.S. Raghavan were on the inspection team.
Mr. Rastogi reportedly sought laying of a road to connect Hebbal
Industrial Area with Mysore-KRS Road near CIPET. An Under Ground Drainage
facility was also sought from CIPET to Hebbal Industrial Area along with
installation of street lights.
Mr. Sirsikar said the inspection report would be submitted to the
government to seek financial aid for the same.-VG
