Neela Megha Shyama

Review

Director Rajkishore seems to have absolutely no control over the film. He appears to still live in the stone-age. There are several scenes that deserve no mention. Among the two new-faces Radhika and Srujan Lokesh, it is Radhika who deserves full marks. Though this is her first film, her second venture 'Ninagaagi' was released earlier and was a big box-office success. Srujan, son of veteran screen couple Lokesh and Girija, would probably shine in an anti-hero's role. Shobaraj has given a powerful performance. The comedy track is rather sickening and so is the make-up. 'Give-it-a-miss' kind of film.

 Story Line

Business magnate Shobaraj has a lovely daughter Neelamegha (Radhika). She loves to play pranks on a naive youth called Shyam (Srujan Lokesh) whom she loves. Shyam finds it tough to face all the 'tests' that Neelamegha sets him, but manages to come through. In a high-emotion drama that follows, Shobaraj tries to convince the 'lovers' that they were actually brother-and-sister, in order to eliminate Shyam as a suitor! After many tense moments, his plan is exposed and the lovers unite.
